Everyone and their mother are raving about their banh canh cua (crab udon noodle soup)... so I had to try it! FYI. It was $20. The broth was so flavorful, the udon was cooked just right, but... I should have looked at the pictures on here more. I am not a fan of blood cubes, and there was a generous serving in my bowl, haha! There were 3 big pieces of crab (with shell) so I had to roll up my sleeves and get to work. It would also help if they would post the price of the item since it is a "special" and not on the menu. This is a hole in the wall, no frills place. I would come back and try something else. Cash only. I will give this place a 3.5 stars since service was good, even if the other lady had an attitude! Haha My server was nice so yeah ok... 4 stars then. Did I mention, Cash only? Yes, Cash only.

Simple and straightforward. Usually on a rainy day I'll gravitate toward pho, but for some reason my body was telling me a vermicelli bowl was the way to go - and it spoke the truth, I was so rejuvenated by it - just classic grilled pork and crispy egg roll over a bed of fresh noodles and salad, absolutely drenched in nuoc mam... the most dependable combination.

I haven't been here in a minute, but this is the traditional hole in the wall, delish viet spot. Growing up, I would be one of my spots to go. I'm always craving for some good spring rolls and Vietnamese drip coffee. It definitely hit the spot today. Very happy. Service was good. The two ladies working were super friendly and on point. I need to come back and get my phone on.

Always a good bowl of Pho at this no frills restaurant here at My Canh. Come for their good solid bowls of pho aka noodle soup. And please expect nothing fancy here when comes to ambience or service. My Canh has been at this location for over 15 years now (by my estimate), and has been serving solid, home tasting Vietnamese noodle soups. We opted for the #1 Combo Beef Pho and the Bun Bo Hue (Spocy beef noodle soup) and both are good as I've always remembered and expect from My Canh.

That crab banh canh cua was so good! I first tried this dish in San Jose, but this place is better. Four big crab claws huge amount of meat so good!! The fried eggrolls were good but shockingly had a spicy kick! I wonder if they over did it with the black pepper

Honestly the best banh canh cua (crab noodle soup) in SF!!! A cute little Vietnamese restaurant on Broadway. It's also a cash only restaurant!*** Let's get into what we ordered! We ordered (obviously) banh canh cua and spring rolls! The soup and crab was so flavorful and the rice noodz were so chewy and fresh! 5/5 recommend! Bon appetite!

Old school beloved greasy spoon best known for Vietnamese beef and chicken phó, Shrimp & Crab Thick Noodle Soup (Banh Canh Tom Cua) and Bún riêu, a Vietnamese Crab, Pork & Tomato Noodle Soup. Tiny interior so wait times can be sporadic especially around happy hour hours. The beef carpaccio is a great starter and palette cleanser Vietnamese ice coffee is a lifesaver here if your in need of a jolt before continuing your bar crawling in this neighborhood Mom & pop run, please tip kindly if you can!
